If I told you I could spend my 30th birthday weekend at a conference, would you still be my friend?

Seriously, the Brand New Conference is on November 5th in NYC. Created by UnderConsideration, this conference will focus on the development of corporate and brand identity projects by some of the sweetest practitioners around the world. UnderConsideration has a great blog, Brand New, if you’re interested in reading.

There will be a live web cast of the conference available. That may be a smart move on my part. I’m not sure if the conference goers would appreciate fezes and kazoos.

We’re making some much needed updates to the Big Gnome website. You may notice broken images and all the stuff that might make a person say, “Dang, that looks bad. Shoo, they need to check that…” Heehee…well, yes, yes we do. We’re on it!

Yesterday marked our first snow of the year. March 2nd. Not too shabby.

In the world of web, this is old news, but we wanted to share it anyway. Our site was featured on Web Creme, a web design inspiration blog, and a few other similar sites last month. If you ever need a muse for web design, check out Web Creme, Unmatched Style, CSS Mania, and Most Inspired.

You know its going to be a fun week when your alarm clock says, “G’morning! Your web site launches today.” I’ve overseen many a site launch. Part of you is freaking out; another part is relieved. You want everything to be perfect, functioning.

But, today is calm, collected and chill. Our site is live. We’ll find some typos. You’ll find some, too. We’ll fix them. All in a day’s work.
